He smiled, approaching her with a skip in his step. "Hey!" He called out. "Glad to see you're here!"
She froze, a wave of sadness passing over her otherwise-perfect features. 'Hey'. That was what HE had said to her, all those years ago. Instantly, the depression came back to her. She hated herself. How could he be so happy to see her, when she knew she didn't deserve that happiness? It was enough to make her sick to her stomach, or maybe that was just the cancer that she had only learned she had that morning. Suddenly, she was on the ground, her consciousness slipping away as blood began to pool beneath her. Hopefully, he would just leave her here to die, just like her parents had died when she was just a child, leaving her alone on the streets.
